Virtual LAN Empty Virtual LAN

So, I was talking to someone in the clan the other day about virtual lan. I am wondering what the application is and if you could post a how-to for it? If you include some pics in your post, I will add it to the "PC Mods & How To" link on our website with your name as the article's author.

I just want to be able to play cracked games with a couple of my friends over the internet. I know this should be possible. Please, let me know what you know about this. I want a virtual LAN over the internet.
