Modify your Field of view to see more in bad company 2.

To change you FOV you will have to navigate to the BFBC2 folder under your My Documents folder and edit the "Settings.ini" file. You should see a default setting for the FOV, which would read "FOV = 55". Make sure the game isn't running when you change this setting.

I changed mine to 65 then went up to 75 for 1680x1050 resolution which works well. If you are in the 1900 or 2500 then I would switch it to 75 for 1900 and 85 for 2500, Or a bit higher.

But its best to test it out and see how you like it. If you go too high, vehicle combat can look distorted in first person view for vehicles but that can be fixed by switching to third person view for vehicles.

You will not get banned for doing this and it is safe to do.

I have mine at 90 but do keep in mind im using the Dell 30" at 2560x1600. I dont have much else to compare with.

I have 1920x1080 24 inch. and changed FOV to 75, these are the recommended settings for my resolution, but I get this ahrdcore tearing on my eyes when I play with 75 FOV, is it supposed to be like that? How is it working for you guys?

Is vsync on? Try updating your video driver
